Nanotechnology meets regenerative medicine: a new frontier?

Dr. Kenneth Wong is currently the clinical associate professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Hong Kong. He received his clinical training in the UK before embarking on lab-based research. For the past few years, he has been focusing his basic research on nanomedicine, in particular, the use and mechanisms of nanometals in wound healing and inflammation and regenerative medicine, as well as targeted chemotherapy against childhood neuroblastoma using conjugated nanocomposite molecules.

Xuelai Liu
Steven Xuelai Liu is a pediatric surgeon and is currently enrolled as a PhD student in the University of Hong Kong in the field of nanomedicine.
