    Dr. Desmond Schmidt has a PhD in classical Greek papyrology (Cambridge, 1989) and in Information Technology (University of Queensland, 2010). He has worked on the Cambridge Wittgenstein edition, Digital Variants at University Roma Tre, the Charles Harpur edition (University of New South Wales), and the Sardinian Writers Archive at the University of Sassari. He is an Adjunct Fellow in the eResearch group, ITEE, at UQ.
