Weiqian Liu is a postgraduate student at the School of Foreign Languages, Beihang University, Beijing, China. His research interests cover cognitive linguistics and contrastive linguistics focusing on contrastive analysis between Chinese and English.
Yina Wang is a professor of linguistics at the School of Foreign Languages, Beihang University, Beijing, China. Her research interests include cognitive linguistics, contrastive linguistics, discourse studies, pragmatics, etc., with a focus on the grounding strategies of different languages from cognitive and functional perspectives. She has chaired several cross-linguistic studies, with works published in SSCI journals such as
Cognitive Linguistics, Functions of Language ,Journal of Linguistics , and many top-rated peer-reviewed journals in China.
