    Caterina Scianna has a Ph.D. in Cognitive Sciences. Her thesis was on the “Evolutive perspective on neurolinguistics: New hypothesis on Broca’s area”. She is a researcher in the Department of Cognitive, Psychological and Pedagogic Sciences and Cultural Studies at the University of Messina, Italy. She is the author of several articles, including “Neuropragmatics: new perspectives on a theory of utterance interpretation”, (Il Mulino, 2015) and “Reflections on pragmemes: towards the development of societal neuropragmatics” (Springer, 2016).
