He is a Fellow of the UK Academy of Social Sciences, the Executive Editor of Current Issues in Language Planning and Co-editor of Language and Intercultural Communication in Education.

    Azad Mammadov is Professor and chair of the department of General Linguistics, Azerbaijan University of Languages. His research interests deal with discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, and translation studies. He has translated Noam Chomsky’s Language and Mind into the Azerbaijani language.

    Tamilla Mammadova is an Associate Professor in the Humanities and Social Sciences at ADA University, Azerbaijan, recognized for her extensive international experience and academic expertise. She holds a PhD from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Dr. Mammadova is the author of numerous books and papers in the fields of sociolinguistics and international & comparative education.
