Zusammenfassung
Die jeweiligen Leitbilder der Pastoraltheologie legen immer auch christentums- wie protestantismustheoretisch fundierte Bildungskonzeptionen offen. Der Wandel der Pfarrbilder zeigt daher immer auch den Wandeln protestantischer Bildungstheorien und den diesen zugrundeliegenden ekklesiologischen Entscheidungen. Dieser Konnex lässt sich am Wandel der Pfarrbilder innerhalb von RGG1–4 exemplarisch zeigen. Zugleich werden dabei markante theologiepolitische Verschiebungen in der Lexikonproduktion rekonstruiert.
Abstract
The multiple paradigms of pastoral theology reveal various models of education which again are linked to certain concepts of protestantism and christianity in general. This is reflected in the concept of the ‘Pfarrer’ (pastor). They change according to shifting educational theories and transforming images of the church. This connection may be illustrated in reference to the articles entitled ‘Pfarrer’ in the four editions of the «Religion in Geschichte und Gegenwart». At the same time, important editorial shifts in the the production of the encylopedias are reconstructed.
