The ‘MC’ conference series has provided a showcase for materials chemistry for two decades, and is the flagship event of the RSC’s Materials Chemistry Division. In its 20th year, this cutting edge international research conference is organised around four exciting and diverse areas of the application of materials chemistry.

MC11 will appeal to academic and industrial scientists working on the chemistry, physics and materials science of functional materials. Student participation is strongly encouraged.

The main themes will be distributed across four parallel sessions. There will be plenary lectures at the beginning and end of the conference, and at the beginning and end of each of the two middle days as well as an evening plenary lecture on Monday 8 July. Each symposium will have a keynote speaker followed by contributed speakers.

Poster presentations are an important part of the MC series; two dedicated poster sessions will be held during the conference.

Themes

Biomaterials

Encompassing biomaterials for tissue engineering, biomaterials for healthcare, green biomaterials and advanced synthesis methods of biomaterials.
