Abstract
In this paper, the performances of the Switch and Stay Combining/Selection Combining (SSC/SC) combiner output signal at two time instants is determined. The SSC and SC combiners with two branches are considered. The presence of the Rayleigh fading at the input is observed. The probability density function (PDF) at the output of the combiner is obtained. The outage probability is numerically calculated using PDF. The results are shown graphically to emphasize better performances of the SSC/SC combiner apropos classical SSC and SC combiners at one time instant.
