Zusammenfassung

Die epischen Helden – Amiran, Tariel und Rostom – sind die beliebtesten Helden in der georgischen Erzähltradition, beeinflusst von der Literatur, die viele Interpretationen in den Volkserzählungen haben. Im Aufsatz werden die archivalischen Quellen aus dem neunzehnten und zwanzigsten Jahrhundert untersucht. Diese Texte, die in eine Rahmenerzählung eingepasst sind, präsentieren die drei Helden aus verschiedenen Epen in einer Geschichte als Freunde, die sich gegenseitig ihre Abenteuer erzählen.

Abstract

This article analyses the main Georgian epic heroes as a frame tale. The heroes Amiran, Tariel and Rostom discussed in this article, are the most popular figures in Georgian narrative tradition, introduced through literature and subject to many interpretations in folklore, in line with patterns common in folk narratives. The article examines the archival material of the three heroes telling their stories to each other, recorded in the late nineteenth to twentieth centuries in Georgia, presenting at once Amiran, Tariel and Rostom in one story.
