    Erkan Demirci studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Hannover and received his masters diploma in 2001. He joined the Materials and Processes Department at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) in 2008. Since 2010, he is a member of the Surface Technology Group within the Laser Zentrum Hannover.

    Christian Nölke studied at the University of Hannover. After his diploma, he started his scientific career at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) in the Materials and Processes Department in 2008. He is the head of the Surface Technology Group since October 2011.

    Stefan Kaierle finished his doctorate at the RWTH Aachen University and then worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT). In January 2012, he became Head of the Materials and Processes Department of the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH).

    Prof. Dr. Paolo Matteazzi is the cofounder (1994) and President of the company MBN Nanomaterialia SpA (producer of nanomaterials powders and consolidated products) and the cofounder of the companies microLS GmbH (producing innovative micropowder feeding devices) and Manudirect SRL (producing innovative high-resolution microLaser Sintering machines using nanopowders).
