The כי clause of Hos 11,1 is more often than not translated temporally. This short note presents a case for כי's causal sense on the basis of external and internal evidence.
La particule כי en Osée 11,1 est souvent rendue au sens temporel. Cette note propose un sens causatif, sur la base d'évidences externes et internes.
Die Partikel כי in Hos 11,1 wird häufig temporal wiedergegeben. Der Beitrag begründet ein kausales Verständnis auf der Basis externer und interner Evidenz.
