Abstract
We prove that for any noncomputable c.e. set π΄ there is a non-computable c.e. set π΅ β π΄ such that for every noncomputable c.e. set π we have π β°β₯ ππ΄ β π΅ < ππ΄. We show that if c.e. π-degrees π and π form a minimal pair in the c.e. π-degrees, then π and π form a minimal pair in the
π-degrees.
