New Collections of Benthic Marine Algae from Livingston and Deception Islands (South Shetland Islands) and Trinity Island (Bransfield Strait) Antarctica

Abstract
New lists of the marine benthic algae from Livingston, Deception and Trinity Islands (Antarctica) are presented, based on collections made during four Spanish expeditions and previous records from herbaria. Some comments on previous records included in the literature are given. The list contains 37 species of Rhodophyta, 14 Phaeophyta and 10 Chlorophyta, as well as one Chrysophyta, Antarctosaccion applanatum (Gain) Delé-pine. Two of these are new records for the South Shetlands Islands: Blidingia minima (Naegeli ex Kützing) Kylin and Pachymenia orbicularis (Zanardini) Setchell et Gardner.
