Frangis Dadfar Spanta (Dr. phil.), geb. 1982, ist Friedens- und Konfliktforscherin. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind hybride Friedensbildung, Interventionsforschung, Eliten- und Diasporaforschung. Sie hat als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Projektkoordinatorin des »Good Governance Afghanistan-Projektes« an der Willy-Brandt-School of Public Policy, Universität Erfurt, gearbeitet.
