Executive Fashion

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) salaries are a topic of interest among the public and academics in the US as well as the world over. They have also been studied by many academics but few have looked at CEO pay in the fashion business.

Executive Fashion is a pioneering study of executive compensation in the US fashion business. It explores the following questions and more:

Dr. Emre Ozsoz is Associate Professor of Economics at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), part of the State University of New York system. His scholarly work primarily examines corporate governance and executive compensation. Dr. Ozsoz's research has appeared in several academic publications, including Emerging Markets Review, Journal of Financial Services Research, OPEC's Energy Review, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, and Eastern European Economics. Additionally, he has authored two books exploring dollarization and co-written a textbook on financial management. In recognition of his academic contributions, Dr. Ozsoz received the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Scholarly Activities in 2016, along with multiple SUNY Merit Awards for his research efforts.
