This textbook, which was written in close consultation with students, begins by examining charge transport in carriers and the key principles of electrostatics and stationary magnetic fields. Building on this, it explores transient fields through to Maxwell’s equations. The second part discusses convection, thermal radiation, and, finally, changes of state in ideal gases, as well as the first two principles of thermodynamics.
