About this book

This empirically oriented study examines the connection between conceptual orality/literacy and the degree of syntactic complexity in modern European Spanish – and in part, in French. For this purpose, the author syntactically analyzed a stylistically heterogeneous corpus of over 10,000 sentences, both qualitatively and quantitively.
