Cancer prehabilitation is a combination of prevention and rehabilitation. Early movement therapy interventions starting before medical cancer therapy provide for physical and psychological fitness during the cancer treatment. Early data show that beyond preventing relevant cancer-specific adverse effects, they promote compliance with medication dosage and reduce days in hospital.
