About this book
With the Parisian newspaper Die Zukunft (1938–1940), Willi Münzenberg, the most influential antifascist media-maker of the interwar period, founded a vision of Europe that opposed Hitler's war and his helper Stalin. With the support of A. Koestler, M. Sperber, P. Viénot, and others, a network of non-conformist Christians, socialists, liberals, and conservatives emerged, which sounded out spaces of European freedom and a German-French union.
