Solution of half space and slab albedo problems for linearly anisotropic scattering with the modified FN method

Abstract
In this work, the FN method with a different numerical approximation is used to solve both, half-space and slab albedo problems for a linearly anisotropic scattering kernel. The numerical results are compared with data available in the literature and the accuracy of the method is verified.
Kurzfassung
Halbraum- und Platten-Albedo-Probleme für linear anisotrope Streuung mit Hilfe der modifizierten FN-Methode. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird die FN-Methode mit einer anderen numerischen Näherung verwendet um Halbraum- und Platten-Albedo-Probleme für linear anisotrope Streukerne zu lösen. Die numerischen Ergebnisse werden verglichen mit den in der Literatur verfügbaren Daten und die Genauigkeit der Methode wird verifiziert.
