Disciplinary Counseling: Implications for Policy and Practice

A survey of college and university judicial officers and counseling center directors explored the use of disciplinary counseling in the student judicial process and how it is viewed by the individuals in these positions. Data about demographics and the frequency of referrals are given, and issues related to disciplinary counseling are discussed. Implications and recommendations for future policy and practice are provided.
