Abstract
The crystal structure of NaCrP2O7 has been determined by X-ray diffraction. The crystal data are: space group P21/c, a = 7.294(2), b = 7.838(2), c = 9.484(2) Å,β = 111.72(2)°, V = 503.8(4) Å3, Dm = 3.26, Dc = 3.282 Mg m−3, Z = 4, μ(MoKα) = 2.89mm−1. The structure was refined to R = 0.029 for 2381 independent reflections (|Fo|≥ 4σ |Fo|). In addition, the lattice parameters of compounds isostructural with NaCrP2O7 were measured.
