Determination of cumulative yields of fission products from 238U by 5.0 MeV neutrons

By using a spectrum average technique, the cumulative yields of the fission products of 238U were determined at 5.0 MeV neutron energy. In the determination, the 115In(n,n′)115mIn reaction was used as a monitor. The gamma spectra of the fission products and those of the monitor were taken by using a REGe detector with Be window. The determined values were corrected for contribution from the 235U(n,f)reaction. The results were compared with predicted values from EXFOR data file.
