Lacunary (R, p, M)-summability

In this article summability methods of weighted mean type are considered which are generated by a lacunary sequence of positive minimal density. The interdependencies between the topological structure of the summability domain for the geometric sequence (and as its consequences for general power series) are discussed. In addition some results on universal approximation are proved.
