Fascicularones C and D, Tricyclo[5.4.0.02.5]undecane Sesquiterpenoids from the Liquid Culture of Naematoloma fasciculare

Abstract
Two novel sesquiterpenoids of tricyclo[5.4.0.02.5]undecane skeleton, fascicularones C (5) and D (6) have been isolated from liquid culture of a poisonous mushroom, Naematoloma fasciculare. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods. Compounds 5 and 6 promoted radicle elongation of lettuce seedling.
