Garbacz, E-mail: a.garbacz@il.pw.edu.plAbstractRepair of any concrete structure results in formation of complex two-component repaired concrete-repairmaterial systems. Good co-operation requires compatibility of the whole system. In L. Czarnecki’s approach,a number of inequalities defining good compatibility requirements has been formulated for three main mod-els of repair systems: injection, structural surfacing and coating. In this paper, the previously formulated compatibility coating model was adapted for meeting specific prop-erties of elasticized PCC coating as well as the requirements of the EN 1504-2. The computer simulationswere performed for three various values of coating thickness, maximum crack width and its opening variation. The usability of compatibility approach was also confirmed in practice during selection of coating for protec-tion of concrete walls in the concrete sewage aeration tank. The obtained results clearly demonstrate the effi-ciency of the compatibility approach. Keywords:Concrete durability; Anticorrosion protection; Compatibility.
