Zusammenfassung
Der traumatische Wiederholungszwang ist kein primum movens, sondern eine reaktive dialektische Bewegung. Sie hat zwar die Menschheitsgeschichte eröffnet; aber deren Verlauf lässt sich aus ihr nicht deduzieren. Hösles Verdacht, dass meine Philosophie des Traums genau dies versucht, entspringt seiner Neigung, meine dialektische Konzeption dualistisch zu lesen. Während mir eine Fundierung negativer Dialektik von der Psychoanalyse aus vorschwebt, bleibt er bei der positiven Dialektik des objektiven Idealismus. Daraus ergeben sich auch unterschiedliche Vorstellungen über die Leistungsfähigkeit der Mentalarchäologie, die ich betreibe.
Summary
The traumatic repetition compulsion is not a primum movens, but a reactive dialectical movement. It has indeed opened the history of mankind; but its course cannot be deduced from it. Hösle’s suspicion that my philosophy of dream does indeed try to do this arises from his tendency to read my dialectical conception dualistically. While I have in mind founding negative dialectics from psychoanalysis, he sticks to the positive dialectics of objective idealism. As a result, there are different ideas about the efficiency of mental archaeology that I am doing.
