Matthew Eshbaugh-Soha is Professor and Chair of Political Science at the University of North Texas. His research agenda focuses broadly on the American presidency, the news media, and public policy. In addition to over two dozen scholarly articles, he is the coauthor (with Jeff Peake) ofBreaking through the Noise: Presidential Leadership, Public Opinion, and News Media (Stanford University Press).
