Liang Yongjia (yjliang@cau.edu.cn) is Professor of Anthropology at the China Agricultural University, Beijing. He obtained his PhD in Anthropology from Peking University. Currently, his research interests include religious revival, secularism and ethnicity in postimperial China, and comparative study of world renunciation and kingship.
