An Arabic Acknowledgment of a Debt on Papyrus

Abstract
This article presents the edition of the Arabic papyrus, document A.P. 980, which is currently kept at the papyrus collection of the Austrian National Library in Vienna (Papyrus Erzherzog Rainer). The document contains an acknowledgment of debt in money most probably in the form of a ḏikr ḥaqq. The document dates to Ǧumādā II 244/ September-October 858.
