The fifth edition of the commentary on the Authentification Act considers:

• the legal modifications to the health care power of attorney ( § 20a BeurkG) and
  electronic certificates ( §§ 39a, 42 Abs. 4 BeurkG);
• the current judicature of the German Federal Court of Justice (Bundesgerichtshof -BGH) on the requirements and scope of the notarial notification obligations;
• the latest developments in notarial duties involving international elements and
  electronic legal relations;
• and particularly, the modifications introduced by the Act regarding the Modernization of the Law on Limited Liability Companies and the Prevention of Abuse (MoMiG) (Annex to § 53 BeurkG).
