JOACHIM WACH History of Religion, 1898-1955 The University of Chicago, The Joseph Regenstein Library, 1100 East 57th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60637. The JOACHIM WACH PAPERS consist of manuscripts of published and unpublished works, notes and research files, course materials, manuscripts and correspondence relating to post-humous publications, as well as a small amount of corres-pondence from the 1940s and 1950s. The main body of the correspondence was destroyed at the time of Wach's death. Family letters were taken by Wach1s sister, along with family photographs (Switzerland). The Wach collection was transferred to the Archives in 1980 by Wach1s literary ex-ecutor, Dr. Joseph Kitagawa, Dean of the Chicago Divinity School.
