Author / Editor information

Todd G. Shipley is an American cybersecurity expert, author, and entrepreneur as well as a retired law enforcement Senior Detective Sergeant. He is a former President of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and was the 2023 recipient of the HTCIA Lifetime Achievement Award. He holds several technology investigations certifications and has managed law enforcement high technology training for commercial and non-profit entities. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant and is a combat veteran. He regularly trains and speaks internationally on Cybercrime and Dark web investigations and was featured as an expert on Internet investigations in the documentary “Deep Web” by Alex Winter. He has co-authored cybercrime investigation books and articles.

Art Bowker is a well-known American author and specialist in cybercrime investigations related to corrections, including pretrial, probation, and parole. He has co-authored two cutting-edge books on cyber-investigations and is a lifetime member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA). In 2008, he served as the International President of the organization. Bowker's writings on cybercrime have been published in various publications such as the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, Federal Probation, and the American Probation and Parole Association's (APPA) Perspectives. He has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, including the Richard F. Doyle Award from the Federal Probation and Pretrial Officers Association (FPPOA), the Thomas E. Gahl Line Officer of the Year Award, the Sam Houston State University Award from the APPA and the HTCIA Lifetime Achievement Award.
